Timsbury Preschool

A Typical Day

A day in the life of a Timsbury pre-schooler………

9.00am

‘R’ is the letter of the week and red is the colour so need to share with all my friends how my red Robot can walk and talk!

9.30am

What to do next? Will it be the bricks or the cars or the train set – so hard to decide, think I’ll go help my friend build their big tower and knock it down together.

9.50am

Feel like getting messy now, but play dough or sticking?  No, it’s got to be painting, I’ve got to do the picture of an alien fighting a crocodile I promised my Dad…

10.00am

Snack time at last, all this playing is thirsty work – banana today, my favourite!

10.20am

Time for a story now, have a bit of a rest on the big soft cushions, before I find a picture on the computer to colour in and cut out.  I want to do the counting again and find the picture of shapes.

10.50am

Just time to join my friends in the home corner and share some pretend food, need to make a list of what to buy at the shops as it’s the monster party today.  That’s a picture that needs to go in my scrapbook for when I leave.

11.15am

It’s already tidy up time, after singing some songs but at least we can have a little wiggle to music as we pack up.

Tomorrow I’m going to get out in the playground and play Knights and Dragons in the Castle, I haven’t had time to play on any of the ride-ons or take my turn with the sand or the water!
